The Committee continues its programme “Care” which is aimed at helping older cultural workers. The list of such people who have a need in material and medical aid was created by the representatives of the Union of Belarusian Writers. We held a meeting with the wife of Rugor Ivanavich Baradulin – Valiantsina Michailauna, who told us about his health level and his needs. During his staying in hospital lots of calls from newspaper editors, publishers, representatives of NGO, even ministers and from simple citizens were received.
In February they celebrated the 46th anniversary of their family life. They have daughter Ilona and granddaughter Daminichka.
